The 2019 North American Utility of the Year Awards jury has voted and released its official list of semifinalists for the 2019 North American Utility of the Year Awards. This list of course includes the Jeep Wrangler JL.
The field has been whittled down to 12 semifinalists from an original list of 21 SUVs. To be considered, the SUV must be all-new or substantially new and must be available at dealerships before the end of the year to be eligible for the awards.
Next up, the jurors will compare the semifinalists in a comparison drive event and have a second round of voting. The finalists will then be announced at the LA Auto Show on November 28. edAnd finally, the eventual winning SUV will be crown at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday, January 14, 2019.
