Jeep Leaps Forward in 2018 JD Powers Initial Quality Survey

The Jeep brand has made a significant leap forward in the JD Powers 2018 Initial Quality Survey of best nameplates.

Jeep is now ranked 17th overall, putting it squarely in the middle of the pack and above brands such as Toyota and Honda. This is a big leap from its 25th place spot in the same list last year and you can bet the Wrangler, as a major component of Jeep sales has factored into the big upgrade in ranking — as the survey is based on problems per 100 vehicles sold.
