Some 2018 JL Wrangler owners have reported experiencing loose/vague/wandering steering and steering wheel dead spot. And some have experienced improvements after having TSB applied. But if you’re still experiencing steering issues after the TSB (TSB 08-092-18 – Low Steering Assist at Highway Speeds) procedure, there are other potential fixes.
JLWF member chadc880 (Chad) shares with us two fixes which have basically fixed his loose steering and dead spot – tightening the front ball joints and adjusting the steering box.
