We full time RV towing a Rubicon. We use several sites/apps to find spots to park or camp. Our go to spots is Campendium.com to find free "boondocking" or dispersed camping areas. They have a good community of reviewers. Freecampsites.net is an alternative.

Ultimatecampgrounds.com lists all public lands campsites, but doesn't always include dispersed camping. Uscampgrounds.info is one we haven't used as much. Forestcamping.com/ is good for National Forests

Have fun,
Greg

Just went to Zion for the first time earlier this year. Beautiful park! Stayed at Watchman Campground and highly recommend. A freak storm came in and basically had the place to ourselves as many left. We walked past the Zion Lodge and that looked a nice place to take a shower :).

You really can't go wrong with any of the hiking trails... just pick how difficult you want it. As for 4x4 trails, not much out there. As others have said Toquerville Falls is pretty easy and has a cool water crossing at the actual falls.

Yeah a few miles up the road so to speak. There's a road called Zion Canyon Scenic Dr. It basically takes you by all the famous trailheads and look out points. We were there off season so could actually drive it, but during peak visits I think you can only go by tram.

Gotcha thanks! We are heading there at the end of the month. So
hopefully should be able to drive it.
