Agreed however
On 37's? Or did you miss that part :movember:

Edit:
Just want to clarify here. I'm talking near 20 mpg in town on 37/13.5r17 heavy ass Toyo MT's with stock gearing. And 25.86 mpg on the highway going 60-70 on the 37's.

Pssh, I see you are on the flatlands in Florida to boot. I'm glad you're happy with your 3.6, and also way to go with your decision to stick with your fuel efficient powerhouse of an engine. Thanks for stopping by the diesel section
Agreed..ur on 37's however , the point here was it doesn't make a world of difference.. like in other makes. That 3.0 ain't that cheap of an option. Just an observation my friend, nothing more . Cheers

I have a buddy that has the turbo 4 cyl and loves it. So far my EcoD has been all I’ve wanted it to be and I have no regrets, to each their own.
But since it’s Christmas, I wish for no exhaust recirculating, no DEF, straight exhaust, 4 more MPG (to assure 30 every trip) 40 more hp for an even 300 and 28 more lb/ft of torque to match the 392.
Merry Christmas everyone!

On 38’s w/full beadlocks and 3.5/4.5 inch lift. Just turned 20,000 miles.
20.6 mpg average. 20% city driving
I floor it a lot and really try to keep it under 70mph

last weigh in is 5400 lbs loaded for every day driving.

Have you changed your axle gearing or still 3.73’s?

still 3.73s. It’s mostly in 8th gear on the highway. Keep in mind, Houston is flat. If I get a really strong headwind it will downshift, and when driving up the overpasses it will downshift till I’m past it.

A friend is running 40’s on his gas Gladiator Rubicon, and had to regear from 4.10 at very low miles. He’s given me the 4.10 gears just in case, but I haven’t felt the need to regear yet. I’d like to wait till I have a little off-road camping trailer, and see how it does on the highway. That would likely be the determining factor for if I regear or not.

Mine averages 22.2mpg no matter how or where I drive. I was hoping for more but I'd hate to see less when I change the tires and wheels.

C'mon man, convert the math. The goofy ass liter's per 100 kilometers y'all use kills me every time I think on it. I fully admit America needs to adopt the Metric system for damn near everything. But no lie, your fuel usage calculations are as fucked up as a soup sandwich.

Name of the game with larger tires (no matter what you drive). It is a fair bet you will see at least a little lower fuel economy.

It's like the metric world CAN NOT figure out how to switch to kilometers per liter. That should be such a simple switch.

It just sounds fucked up.

It's like asking a guy that's been with 4 girls, how many 100's of girls did he have relations with on his trip around the world? Okay, bad analogy, but I stand by it because it's just as fucked up as L/100km :like:
