So I left the Denver area with a mostly full tank. Maybe 75 miles of driving an average of 45 MPH after filling last week. Drove a mix of roads including I70 and some US highways and state roads to get to Kearney, NE. 375 miles or so. 80 on the interstate, 70 on the back roads. Low fuel light came on just 6 miles south of town. 18 gallons to fill. Total of 450 miles. So right at about 25 MPG.

Just completed a trip from VA to FL and back. Just over 1,600 miles averaging between 60 and 70 mph and managed to get over 30 mpg by the trip computer. Didn’t hand calculate so can’t validate the trip computer. Jeep is still stock with 4,000 miles on the odometer.

Just finished my trip back, Iowa to Colorado. It's"uphill" going from 750 ft to over 6000. I was towing a 2400 pound flat bed trailer. And I had a stiff head wind probably half of the way. Still managed almost 18 MPG.
