in the end a computer controls how much force is applied to assist the turn. i suspect there are a number of variables, temp, speed perhaps other things to are used as inputs and the output is the 'assist'. replacing the electric, computer controlled pump is theoretically the best solution. but, seems like i've read of at least one person where it didnt help. which would indicate there is a design flaw with the entire jeep suspension, all of it. the jeep's suspension is made up of a lot of pieces and i suspect the combination of whole is a problem that that doesnt lend itself to a well established solution. i suspect there is no solution other than a redesigned suspension .. all of it.
