Purchased my Jeep JK Ruby in 2012. Immediately lifted it 3.5" and installed 35s. Now have 166,500 miles on her. I have had no mechanical problems with the exception of two clock springs. The steering got progressively wonkier over the years and I recently replaced the drag link, track bar and tie rod. Runs perfect now. Just picked up a new JLUR but will keep driving my JK as well.Nice! The battery is now one thing you can check off your list of worries, for a long time!
I chickened out and paid $700 for a professional to change them after 122K. I feel so dirty. Tell me how i got ripped off so i can feel worse.Lol, yeah, looks complicated. A buddy of mine just did it on his JK's 3.6, though, and said it wasn't as bad as he thought it would be. Just stick rags in the intake holes so as not to get debris or anything in them.
Good to know that these run great well beyond the 100k mark!
