YAY Quadratec door sill protectors pre order

My only real concern is about "mirror movers". I really want to use the factory mirrors so I can preserve the blind-spot indicator -- and probably the power movement features. Waiting for a bracket from "Dietech Offroad" that will allow this.

I live in SoCal, and run about 350 days a year with no doors!

The photo below is their JK bracket. The JL is under development according to Dietech, and should be available sooner than later.

I installed them over the weekend. The fronts are really good, the rear has good coverage but when you close the door, you can see a bit of the protector. It is not bad, but I can see it may look weird if it was shaved to not be seen with the door closed. You have to kinda look at that gap of the rear door and you see a corner of the protector. Maybe if you moved it more forward towards the front, you won't seem them as much. When you dry fit, close the door to check.

I installed mine yesterday. Much better coverage then the Mopar one.

HungryFerret did you push down and toward the body when you installed them? With my door closed you can not see the front or back sill guards.

Can you snap a picture of doors closed, thank you!

Well I apologize, when you look at a 30 deg. angle or higher you do not see the sill guard. Lower then 30 and straight on you can just see the bottom lip. This happens only on the rear doors.

I think mine come in on Thursday. I like the coverage of the front, but the rear is definitely too close to the edge and is lacking in coverage.

It is not terrible, but you only see if you looking for it and at a lower angle. For the super high lifted guys, it will be more noticeable because it will be higher. haha

The fronts are just right for sure, the back needs work.

Hmm, now I’m thinking about the Quadratec fronts with Mopar rears. It’s the wear on the front I’m worried about, anyways.
