Anyone has 2.5″ – 3″ DUALSPORT RT SUSPENSION FOR 2018+ WRANGLER JL installed on their JL extreme recon 2.0T? I would like to know some details about the kit and how it is performing..
Once that kit is installed you don’t have to limit to asking Extreme Recon owners. You can ask anyone with a 2.0. I would use the search and start searching threads with a few of those key words and message those who have it. That will be your best bet.

Thanks. Already did some reading.. I'm trying to get some specific information about bump stops, how those OEM rim-35 combo and control arms (not sure if it's the same for regular JL) work with the lift

Yea good questions. I went from a regular Rubi with the Mopar lift to the Extreme Recon and swapped the lifts so my Extreme Recon now has the Mopar 2” lift. The ER has the same sway bar links and control arms as the standard Rubicon. But the ER does have about a 1” raised rear bump stop mount and a 1” spacer for a total of 2” over a standard Jeep. The front longer tower provides about 2” maybe a little more front bump stop. So you shouldn’t need any additional front or rear bump stop with 35’s. I run 37’s on mine also and didn’t add any additional front bump stop but did add 1” more to the rear. Does that help?

Thank you for that information! How much height did you gain with Mopar 2 inch lift over ER height? Did you had to add any spacers for the 35s or 37s after you installed the lift?

I gained 1.25” front and 1.75” rear. No wheel spacers for 35’s. I run two sets of wheels and tires. I have 4.5” of back space on my wheels that have the 37’s which I got for my future MC 3.5 Gamechanger lift. I’ve seen others on the forum run 37’s on their Extreme Recon wheels with 37’s and not need spacers on their lifted Jeep. Here is a pic of the two Jeeps right after swap. Taller is the ER with the Mopar. Both on 35’s. Also a pic with it on 37’s

Have any of you take your XR wheels off for the winter and put something else on?

I'm not a fan of all black, but it means I don't have to clean it and it keeps the salt off the XR wheels.
I also wrapped them in Nokian snows.

I have a set of XRs for the summer and put my stock Rubi wheels on for the winter. The 285s are better in snow and the wheels are much cheaper and expendable.

Went on an adventure this past weekend to Death Valley, was an amazing experience of 2 1/2 days of just mud, clay, dust, rain, wind, and views as long as the eyes could see. Was washing off the jeep for more than an hour after the trip to get all the mud off, I know I got a few more spots to rinse on the underside 🤦‍♂️

Has there been issues with the XR wheel due to salt? Typically OE wheels hold up to it without issue.

I want to explore Death Valley in the winter. Have you modified anything? Were there any areas that your Jeep didn't/couldn't or chose not to go due to potential damage? I have seen videos; however, they often take the hard way to make their videos look more impressive. I don't want to damage my wife's new Jeep that is on order! Any advice?

I didn't mean to imply that there were issues. There aren't any as far as I know. What I do know is that my primary wheels have always stayed nicer when they didn't have to deal with winter salt.

Our trucks have the added question mark of those 20 screws around the perimeter. I am 100% speculating now. I have no knowledge of any issues.

I was mostly worried about the screws corroding.
