XR Rear Camera

Hey all,

I just wore out the search button trying to find an answer.

Is the rear camera on the XR different than a non XR? It looks like the housing is longer to get past the wider tire? Is there a different part number for the housing?

I'm not referring to the little box with the torx screw in it, but more of the "shaft" that the camera is mounted in.

So the answer is that it's the carrier as a whole. I suppose you could find a way to extend the non XR shaft, but not worth it.

Hi,

I had thought the cover was different, as I trimmed mine down to fit, although ended up breaking the lock and left it off, see fine with +12 offset and 35 12.50's

There is a different bezel (cover) too. It just moves the camera out so that you don't see the tire in your view.
