XR package with a 2.0? Is it possible?

i've been talking with a dealer about ordering either a rubi 2.0 or a willys XR. the dealer claims they can order an XR package with a 2.0 rather than the 3.6? anyone know if this is actually a possibility?

Yes, the XR option has nothing to do with the motor option.

As of the latest order guide 3.6 auto only and of course 392.

this is wonderful news... when using the online configuration it always automatically changed the engine to the 3.6.

i have no idea whether to trust as the dealer says or not. i don't really trust car salespeople... especially jeep one...lol

I might be wrong, I thought you could get the xr package with any motor selection but the Jeep website builder does auto select the 3.6

When I ordered my diesel, the XR package was not an option.

As of today, that is not true. The XR package is only available on Rubicons spec’d with the 3.6 Etorque or 392 Hemi. No 2.0 or Diesel engine can be spec’d with the XR package.

Good point. When I ordered my XR the Rubicon was the only trim available. The Willys XR was supposedly coming soon for ordering. Either way. It’s 3.6 eTorque or Hemi.
