I enjoy living vicariously through the others that share their trips on here, figured it was time to return the favor. We're lucky to be able to make this trip, life is always too stressful, and we see the cost as an investment in our quality of life. Thanks for sharing, and I am impressed at your stamina! I thought the drive from Seattle to Moab was long.
If you have time, the "Subway" cave hike in Sedona is very pretty and not too hard. I think dogs are allowed, but cannot remember. Broken Arrow is a fun trail and one of the first places I went wheeling in a Jeep, however if Moab is "Varsity" Sedona is definitely "JV" at least in terms of Jeep trails. The Sedona scenery is just a beautiful though
I do quite a bit of traveling for work, but the Jeep is definitely more wearing than the Ram I normally drive. The worst part is the noise from the Pro-6 bar, about half the time it creates a whistle between 75-80. That and you may as well be driving a sailboat with the high winds across the great plains.
Thanks for the recommendations! The more extreme stuff is a blast, but a nice scenic trail run is often more enjoyable.
