I’ll be replacing my steel rear bumper as soon as the AEV rear bumper is released (so, sometime between January and never). Mine does have rear sensors, but the holes can be filled with simple covers from the hardware store.
Note, I am replacing the rear bumper because, as has been reported by others, it doesn’t stand up well to the ledges in Colorado and Utah, even though I added additional stiffeners (see pic), the flex came too close to the sheet metal.

The Mopar steel front bumper is sturdy and worthy, I’m keeping it.
