When I plug in there is allot of ‘chattering’ behind the charging port as the contacts set and release upon said plug -in which subsequently activates a charging fault and no charge. This is a bit frustrating as the dealership I bought it from last week will not even look at it since none in their service center is certified except for oil changes and routine maintenance. Only 450 miles on my new Jeep Wrangler and I was told that I’m not the only one this is happening to. I’m sure they’ll get it worked out but with this new microchip and semiconductor shortage going on who knows when that’ll happen for now it uses only gas I guess… LOL. I’m hoping it is something simple but I’m kind of thinking it’s not. I’m no
electrical engineer but I do know something about electricity and it just does not sound good.
