Hey all

This is my first post as I'm a new jl owner from the middle east (2018 jlu sport stock metallic granite).

Im planning to change the stock wheels from 245/75r17 to 285/70r17 or 285/75r17 with fuel zaphyr bronze 17/9 -12. Would it be OK with that offset? Or it would be poked alot and look bad?

And If any has 33s with -12 stock suspension on a sport or sahara please share some photos

Thanks in advance

I like the wider stance, always preferred the aggressive look. There should not be any problem with fit or clearance. Your choice in tire size is very close to the 33x12.50 that came on my stock Rubicon, which is able to accommodate 35’s. I would do a google image search for that combination.. I bet you find helpful images.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
285/70 will be better than the 285/75 unless you plan to lift it a bit. If you can locate a Rubicon suspension swap in your country that will net enough lift to fit the 34" tall 285/75s.
Those -12s will poke a fair amount but also work better if you plan to lift it (they will allow more room to the inside).
Here's a good site for trying new tire/wheel setups, it includes a visual tool as well.

Lifting is a problem to me tbh.. So I'll stick to the 285/70 as we have only 1 jeep agent monopolizing the market and charges around USD 2950 for an all in all Mopar 2 inch lift (they don't alow any other kind of lifts and any lift outside the agent or u loose the warranty on alot of things).

But thanks anyways for the thoughts

Thanks alot for sharing but I guess ur offset is in the (+). Iv ordered the fuel zephyr 17/9 with an offset of -12 and I think that it will poke alot.

Will never know till I fix it so let's see
