My since new Mileage on my 3.6 is 14.7. That is with 2600 miles...2000 of those miles on 37s. Nearly 1000 of those miles before I corrected with a tazer. It's not great at all, but so many short trips...doesn't seem horrible either.
I was driving the other day to go off-roading 100 miles away and was getting 25.5 mpg. I usually get 21-22 mpg almost every tank with my 3.6 and I have 45,000 miles. It improved after 20,000 miles. I am still completely stock, but will soon go to 35s when then original tires are done.

Really interesting. Cool to read about all the modifications they make that an engine swap wouldn't have. When we were buying our third car, it was between a 4runner and a JLU. We got the JLU- which kind of knixed my plans 392- having two Jeeps just seemed like overkill... Especially since our JLU is a loaded Sahara. These look sweeeeeet, and powerful.

So does anyone know if it’s regular or premium gas for the 392?

Well, the possible upside for you to consider is that Jeeps typically maintain their resale better than most vehicles, soooo you might be able to get surprisingly nice trade in value on that loaded Sahara... I'm just sayin ;)

True. Just sold my ‘19 JLUR for $2500 less than I bought it for brand new... now if I could just get my 392 order moving along!

Unfortunately, 80% of my trips are less than 5 miles. I am guessing on percentage, and a lot of them are 2 miles. Looking forward to getting out for fun.
