How many of you utilize your wrangler as a daily driver? I travel to several plants monthly throughout the northeast and put roughly 20-25k miles a year on my daily driver. Wondering if my ordered 392 can fit the bill as a daily?

I've owned mine for ~5 days thus far but it will be my daily driver, with occasional weekend excursions, maybe one big offroad trip/year or so.

I don't see why your 392 couldn't fit the bill. Gas might be a bit crazy - I went with the 2.0L and thus far I'm averaging ~20-24 MPG, so I'm really pleased (my previous pickup averaged 12-14, lol)

Well the 392 I just ordered will be my daily but I really only have a 12 mile round trip a day so no biggy. Even if it was more I wouldn't care. What a badass vehicle to get to daily drive summers and winters.

I'm a 59 year old business owner & driven mostly only luxury SUV's before. I got the JL because I plan to retire soon & the JL is what I wanted to tow behind our motorhome. But currently working and it's my daily driver and I love it. Wife has a luxury SUV & when we switch vehicles sometimes I can't wait to switch back.

I daily my JLU 50 miles round trip 6 days a week and on the 7th day I take it searching for Mountain Bike trails. Almost at 8k in the 4 months I've owned it so id say it does pretty good as a Daily Driver.

I make flow formed double beadlocks.
My DD. I've had many different Jeeps. The JL is the most comfortable Wrangler I've ever had from stock until now.

I drove a TJ 20k / year for a few years. The JL is a caddy in comparison, you will be fine.

Now I split mileage between the JL and the 996. But when I drive it, it gets 70-80 a day.

Stick to a 4 door (as a 392, that decision is made for you, as is the fact that 2 doors seem hard to get). A 2-door beats you up a bit more. Still doable, it is my daily driver, but most wouldn’t like it.

Daily Driver here. 17k miles in the first year with lots of offroading. It's been on 37s since it was 2 weeks old.

I had a '19 Mojito JLUR 2.0t that was a DD but I also ran several trails on it throughout Colorado. Traded it in with 28,000 miles for a '21 Hydro Blue 4xe JLUR first week in July and will continue to run it as my DD and go on trails. Always wanted to have a Wrangler and these two I have recently owned have certainly not been a disappointment.

Wife drives her Rubi and I drive my Mojave every day. Don't want another vehicle.

I have a 6-speed manual JLUR with 14K miles in 9 months. This is my 7th wrangler and by far the most comfortable. Easy to use as a daily driver. BTW, I'm 6' tall and this is the first Jeep I have ever owned where I did not put the seat back as far as it would go.

I DD my JLR but my commuting situation just drastically changed. I went from a 75-80 minutes per day commute with about 60 miles on the highway to a 3 minute, 1.5 mile commute. Consequently I now no longer have doors or top on my jeep for the last week.
