Would you have bought your Jeep if you knew about the hinge corrosion issue?

Would you still buy a Jeep knowing about the hinge corrosion problems?

I haven’t had an issue with it so I’d of still bought anyways taking a chance. Small reason to deprive myself the pleasure of owning a Jeep. Hell I get so many AZ pinstripes If I did end up with it nothing too big can’t be fixed.

I had read about it before I got mine. Asked a buddy with a 6 year old JK if he had any corrosion and he said no. I am hoping that the drier climate in CO maybe keeps it somewhat at bay. So far no sign of it after 2 years anyway.
This is JL corrosion/paint blistering on the aluminum doors, hood and tailgate. Just had my 2020 repainted. It’s a disgrace considering it’s a $60,000. If you can’t quality control painting aluminum…this is also a problem for the Cherokees too
Body shops are loving it.
