My wife is 5’2” and while she can get in and out ok, she asked for a step for our boys, ha! Anyway we took the rubi rails off and put the LOD destroyers on and they are both great for a step and protection. I bough from Northridge 4x4 and got them cheaper than the mopar performance rails. I also chose the LOD over the mopar because it looks like the LOD step portion is a tad lower and could act better as a step.

My wife is 5 4" and has bum knee, she drives a stock Sahara with running boards and grab handles, her dream vehichle. I have stock Rubicon with LOD sliders, need to get some grab handles; was told no lifts which was OK, did put Fox shocks on which raised it about 1 inch, but didnt tell her.

Bring her to Jeep store and see how she likes it, my wife generally steps up on slider, pivots and sits down, no way she would give up her Sahara. Has an Overland for winter with the air suspension which lowers when parked.

oh we are pushin 60.

My wife is 5'6. Would she have trouble getting into and out of a JL Rubicon compared to a Sport S?
stock no- lifted, depends on how high you lift and tire size.
Rock Slide Engineering makes a nice set of power step sliders to make getting in and out easy

Thanks for the reply’s. Am leaning towards a Rubicon but the wife would pitch a fit if she had a difficult time getting in. I doubt she will and if I get the Rubi will be adding either rails or steps at some point anyhow.

I have a 5'2" friend in her 60s that drives a Rubicon with a 3.5" lift and 35" tires. She jumps in that Jeep without an issue!

My fiance is 5'4", she can get in and out of my JLUR w/315's. its a little bit of a hopping action for her, in conjuction with the grab bar. I then put LOD Destroyer sliders (they double with side steps) and now its easy as pie. She's 33, and "healthy" build.

My wife is 5’ 8” and she gets in and out of her JK fine. Installed smittybilt running boards after we bought it years ago which helps big time IMO.
