My wife is 5'6. Would she have trouble getting into and out of a JL Rubicon compared to a Sport S?
Rubicon is approximately 1 1/2 inches taller than regular models. I am 5'07 and I've never had a problem. However, each person is different. Go visit a dealer. Even if you test a JLUR (uccck) it'll give you a good idea. Oh, I ordered the Mopar grab handles to assist too. Well worth the $50

My wife is 5'5" and has no trouble getting into my Rubicon. She just uses the grap handle on the windshield frame or the one above the glovebox. I added grab handles to the rollbar for her. She doesn't need or use them to get in, just to hold onto while driving. Mine is a Recon and comes with the wider rock rails. Not sure if she uses them when getting in. I'll have to pay attention next time :)

Get the mopar performance rock rails from the factory since you’re ordering:

I wish I had ordered these. Just $1k scared me away. Looking back now, I should have ordered these because I'm gonna end up spending at least $1k anyway and now I'm gonna have to do the labor dooooh. Oh well, live and learn

If you want to have functional rock sliders, there are several with a step.

I personally chose the frame mount that works with the factory sliders.

you should be fine. i have a 2.5" lift on my sport ( which is closer to 4.5") my girl has no problem getting in. i added the smittybilt XRC step/sliders. she does use those to get in with the grab handles. I went Smitty because of the pricing and brand. went on easy by my self and didnt break the bank

Nope. My girl is 5'4" and jumps in and out of my JLR like a cat :)
Now I do have Mopar Performance Rock Rails which have 'step assist' but I also have a 2 inch lift and 35" tires...

How's her experience with the trucks you have now? When I test drove a Wrangler Sport, I could tell right away that my lady wouldn't necessarily need steps, but I wanted it to be easy for her to get in and out with heels, so I got drop steps. We just go to the beach, easy trails, and the mall. J/K about the mall, no one goes there, anymore, right?
