I just got back from Deep Creek Maryland and stopped in at Wolf Den Run State Park: Huckleberry Rocks Area to check it out. VERY cool and I would say if you are within 2 hours of the area and don't have many other options it is definitely worth a day trip. I can't believe I searched a few forums for off roading around Deep Creek and didn't see any mention of this. Actually I may have a few years ago but thought it was ATV only, but Jeeps are welcome. Be aware they do want yo to make "reservations" and pay. Mainly so they know someone is out and may get stuck. There are plenty of easy/medium trails and a few that I wasn't comfortable going into without a winch or another vehicle in case of getting stuck.Have any of you ran the trails at Wolf Den Run in Garrett County Maryland? How are they? Looking at running the trails in early December.
We did go earlier this year. Not challenging but definitely fun.
