I just purchased a new grille, with 5 amber LED running lights to wire. Of course, the grille installation was easy. But I can't figure out for the life of me how and where to wire the LED lights. I've seen different videos of WHERE to wire, but nothing that actually shows how. How and where are you guys wiring your LED lights from your grille?

Do you have factory aux switches? Use one of those. Otherwise, splice into fogs.

Don't know about the grille, but my best guess would be to wire it to the fog lights. On the passenger side, right behind the bumper, is a connector that runs to the foglights.

Here is a video showing how to wire up a bumper, showing where the connector is.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Just put these in last night (my side markers were already in). Just need to tap into your marker wire, white for positive, black for ground). These will turn on whenever your marker lights come on, so you can also run them by themselves too.

@Jbarker18

You need to decide whether you want them on all the time when running, just with the fogs, with the side markers, fully controlled by you with an Aux switch if you have Aux switches, etc...

Again, when do you want them on? .... and do you want to be able to toggle on and off at will.

This is the grill with LED lights (both internet photos). Per one video, I tried on left side, but should I go on the right? And connect to the fogs? I spent too much time trying to figure this out, for what should have been only 30 mins, tops.

One per video? Huh?
How do you want to run them? Always on? Controllable?

See my above post. Do you have aux switches in your jeep?

Being that I have my fogs on the majority of the time, anyway, the fogs would be fine. I don't, however, have any AUX switches

IMO the side markers would be best, you can run them w/ just the markers on (first setting on your light switch dial), or when your headlights are on such as auto headlight on your dial. With wiring to your fogs you're locked in to one setting, and if you use your brights they'll go off then too.

Where on the side marker wires do I connect to? I’ve seen the marker wire (white with brown stripe), but have nothing to attach to. The running lights wiring have a “horseshoe” looking plate at the end, but not sure where to attach them

White w/ the orange trace on the passenger side (this is what I used), or White w/ Gray trace on the drivers side, and black wire for ground.

quadratec makes a plug in play wire harness that is inserted between two connectors just above the driver side front wheel. It exposes a connector for DRL and marker lights. I used it to tie my rigid backlighting to work with marker lights. Works great.
