So I’ve got the hard part of this done - I removed my mirrors, took off the rear casing and replaced with the new ones with LEDs. I’ve run all the harnesses through the doors, put quick disconnects on and run everything to the engine bay. Here is where I’m stumped:
there are 3 wires on the mirrors - black, yellow, and white. The website says they are ground (b), turn (y), and daytime running lights (w). I’ve got aftermarket fenders (barricade x series) and Metra halo headlights. I’ve tapped into the turn signal wiring but I’m uncertain on the DRL wire and ground placement. Do I ground to my rough country aux box floodlight toggle on/off and just tap the DRL white wire off the headlights? My light bar, backup lights, and rock lights were all run wire, plug to RC box and done, so this wiring situation is proving to be a little over my head…any advice would be most welcome.
