I recently bought black oak led pods for the Jeep. Instead of fighting my way through the firewall of I purchased the trigger wireless system. Started to look at the installation and for the trigger unit it has connections to battery and a yellow wire that has to be connected to a keyed power source so it’s not on 24/7 draining battery I’m assuming. My question is what is a keyed power source to tap into? Thanks for any help

This is a great video that I was able to use to sort out my install. He is a poster here on the forums too. He uses a fuse tap as referenced above.

I ended up doing mine slightly different and used an aux switch to power it on and off, thus allowing me to have an idiot switch to ensure nothing turns on or triggers unless I decide to feed it power.
