Wireless Charging for phones

Just wondering if anyone has ever thought of placing a wireless charger underneath the dashboard, if there's even any space to do so? Not really a fan of the window/dash/vent phone mounts so I'm thinking of maybe ripping the dash out and see if there's a spot to add a charging pad. Kinda wish the built in tray in the dash was a bit wider, kinda like the JK to be able to lay the entire phone in it.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I came close to ordering that one as it's a great concept. However, at the last moment, I took a closer look at the rewrap and didn't like the cord trim they add parallel to the perimeter stitching.

The EOM stitching is tasteful and minimalist. Although the leatherseats.com product matches the color scheme extremely well, that added cord trim caused me to continue my search.
