So I lifted my 2020 Rubicon JL recently. I have a 37in spare with a 20 in rim.

the problem is that when they reinforced my spare tire carrier, now my back up camera wire is just barely long enough and the seal/grommet does not go all the way in my door. Any one else had this problem?

I’m running a 35” KO2 but instead of going up on rim size I went from an 18” to a 17” and use an RC relocation bracket, mine does not have much slack but I surely would not leave it like that but not sure how you would splice into the camera cable to make it longer.

One thing I also noticed is you need to add some extension to the spare bump stop or you are going to stress the bracket and swing gate when that wheel and tire bounces.

Get rid of that carrier adapter and install a proper adjustable carrier, like the Teraflex Alpha HD. It'll fix your cable issue, while also addressing the bigger issue of the spare being cantilevered so far rearward of the tailgate. That cantilever is essentially amplifying the affect that the spares weight has on the tailgate.
