Windshield Wipers won’t turn off...

Hey, my windshield wipers on my ‘19 JLUR (1700 miles) will not turn off.

I am not having any other electrical issues.

So, I pulled the fuse and took it to the dealership.

The dealership said I needed a new “Steering control module” and this would solve the issue.

Have any of you guys had this issue?

Does the solution of replacing the “Steering control module” make sense?

Never heard of it. But the solution sounds reasonable enough. How long for the replacement part?

how did you know what fuse to pull?

They are basically replacing what we call the the factory a "clock spring" basically they are just replacing the part with the windshield wiper stick and turn signal stick.... Its a pretty simple fix/replacement.... I have also seen a few cases of this happening and also the windshield/rear wiper not returning to the park position when turning them off.... Unless i misinterpreted what you meant by "steering wheel control module" and they are talking about the box right under the dash behind the kneeblocker on the driver side.... That is even a more simple fix, but from experience working on jls i have never seen that causing the wiper problem.... We'll see... Keep us updated... Im curious

I know its a different model but our 2018 JKU did the exact same thing and they said they had to replace the same module, it worked just fine after they changed it. Took them 3 days to get it and 1 full day to replace

I believe I have this issue as well. CEL is on and telling me to service Electronic Stabilizer. The light for traction control isn’t turning off. It won’t let me turn off traction control. Front wipers won’t turn off. Rear wipers won’t even turn on. I have no blinkers or high beams but the hazard lights are on fine. Also tough to turn the wheel when not moving. Wasn’t easy before but a lot tougher now lol. One of our techs mentioned steering control module as well so I will bring it in come morning
