Windshield washer pump on but no flow

Looked though the forums and no luck, so maybe y’all can help with this one.

Pump runs, reservoir is full, and when I disco the supply line to the hood nozzles, water only sputters from the supply side.

anyone seen this and have a quick fix before I do exploratory surgery?

someone posted that theirs got clogged with sediment from bottom of reservoir. So maybe pull the hoses and blow air through them.

Pulled the hoses at the pump, runs but zero flow on a full tank.

Time for a new pump….unless you can determine the input is clogged.

Using RainX fluid?

Pull the pump and clean the screen on the pump inlet

Pulled the supply lines off the pump and hit the pump outlet for 30 seconds with 100 psi of air.

crud is now floating on top of the rez, so flushed with fresh (overfilling the rez) to bring the crap out of the top.

Might be a bandaid, might be a good fix I dunno, but zero dollars spent and the pump works and flows like a champ.

Yup, undoubtedly it is the RainX (or similar washer fluid used) that has/had things plugged up.

I’ve used Rainx for years and never had a problem with it. Could it now be due to the excessive heat under the hood? I used it in my 2018 JK as well with no problems.

I've Jay Walked for over 66 yrs. (Hot and cold Weather) and never have been run over..

Have been using Walmart's generic w/w fluid pretty much exclusively, took 14 years for the screen to clog on my wife's car.

I disconnected lines and used a bicycle pump to purge the lines. Then painstakingly flushed/suctioned the tank.
This picture doesn’t do it justice there was a whole bunch of this gooey slime I got out
