Curious on those with a JLU that have done window tinting did you just get both of the front doors done or did you go darker on the second row and back quarter panels as well?

We tinted the fronts to match the factory tint on the rears. I want to say it's at 20%. I also have my windshield tinted, with a doctor's prescription.

I'm definitely doing the windshield sunshade across the top. Did you go any darker though on the rear or quarter panels or back window then what's factory?

No, we just matched the factory. I think it's 20%. Now the windshield is illegal in Ohio unless you have a doctor's prescription and then it is at 50%.

all the way around including windshield. go with quality ceramic name brand, the heat reduction is dramatic.

Definitely agree had ceramic on my previous vehicle in the midsummer months made a huge difference.

So curious what you used on your windows which were already tempted.

I went with 35% in the front (legal limit) and 20% on the rear with the highest IR blocking ceramic tint I could get. The installer suggested darker in the back to keep people from seeing what's inside. It does that. I'm not sure how necessary that is. I'd probably go with something lighter if I had it to do again just so it wouldn't be so dark for passengers in the back. I haven't had it long enough or had enough passengers to know if that's really an issue. The ceramic tint is worth it though.

I'm getting mine done next week and I cannot wait. The guy that doesn't always does the same for the front have to look at the back based on Jeeps tinting.

Appointment made for tinting late next week.

Ceramic all the way around, 20% in front and 35% in the back wrap around, and 5% strip on the windshield.

I just did the front to match the rear. Ceramic tint.

I also had them add a clear door edge guard to the side and bottom edge of each door, so when I took the doors off and put them on the ground they sit on the plastic and not the door trim.

Nice. Definitely wanted to use this ceramic tent all around for the benefits of keeping it cooler in the summertime also with the matching color throughout.

This is before the tint.

20% on fronts, 70% on windshield and rears 3m ceramic is what I am running. 15% on fronts would be a closer match.
