How do you get the cover on and off? Here are a couple pics. It’s VERY tight, but all the controls can be accessed through the cover.

I had my bud at the Jeep club shop put it on.. had to loosen the mount to get a little more clearance to get it on. It'll stay on for the winter at least, then we'll see about taking it off for the summer. The winch is perfectly useable with the cover on, the zipper opens up access to all the controls, the flap on the front (over the drum) is velcro and just pulls up, although the cable spools out and in without having to actually pull it.How do you get the cover on and off?
What winch plate did you go with? Any fitment issues. Been considering the EVO 12s but wasnt sure if it was too big or needed the Warn winch plate specifically.Warn VR EVO 12S
I got the 10-S EVO and its just a hair smaller than the 12-S EVO, but none the less you don't need Warn's winch plate. The most popular ones people go with are Warn's, Maximous-3's, Grimm Offroad's, and Artec's. DO NOT GET A MOPAR WINCH PLATE FYI. I personally have the Grimmoffroad one and its great. What winch plate did you go with? Any fitment issues. I have installed the Evo 12S with the Warn winch plate. No problems with the install. What winch plate did you go with? Any fitment issues. Been considering the EVO 12s but wasnt sure if it was too big or needed the Warn winch plate specifically.
Hello there. What year is your Jeep? Did you replace the fog lights bezel? I’m asking because I can’t find the ones you have at the Mopar website. I just got a winch installed. The dealership replaced my fog lights for the one that kook like yours without letting me know. They won’t give me an answer. I call Jeep and Mopar, the lights are not part of the winch kit.
I have a 2018 JL Rubicon with the "swoopy curved" ones. I took the outside extensions offInteresting, I‘m guessing that’s a running change in the part rather than an option of a different part that can be selecting instead. My early 2022 JLR has the swoopy curved one too.

Hey, sorry, I haven't checked this forum in awhile. I'm sure others have weighed in here as well...but the elongated bezel comes with the MOPAR winch mount kit. I believe the purpose is to protect the fairlead and/or winch hook. So, the part (which you've outlined) is MOPAR. I don't see any reason why you can't put the shorter ones on there, but I'd caution you that if you install a hook like mine (Factor 55 hook), you run the risk of bumping it, rather than the extended bezels--against something. Already I had an entitled snobby northern-Virginia person back their BMW X5 directly into my car trying to fit into an unmarked metered area WHILE I was sitting in the Jeep, despite honking the horn. AND...zero damage to my vehicle because the bezels helped with that.
Hopefully I've addressed your Q.
Curious what license plate bracket you are using? Looks great. I live in a state that requires a front plate . I like how yours doesn't interfere with the winch. Thanks!I recently installed the Warn winch plate and their Zeon 12s on my factory steel bumper. Everything is tucked out of sight, so once buttoned up there's not much to see.
Also worth mentioning: The Zeon 8k, 10k, and 12k are of identical physical sizes. Same goes for the VR Evo in those 3 capacities.
