Take the endcaps off of the steel number and run a mid width, think they are 18 lbs each(?)I ordered winch and winch plate and their combined weight is only 88 pounds. I don’t expect much sag out of that.
I’ll see once it’s installed.
I think they are 8 lbs. 12 oz each according to this thread. I think I’ll leave them on for street driving.Take the endcaps off of the steel number and run a mid width, think they are 18 lbs each(?)
Stand corrected, I remembered the 18 lbs but wasn't sure if it was total weight or each, hence the question mark. I took my end caps off of my JLR when I installed my Quadratec stealth (61 lbs) and no issues running the stubby/midwidth. I actually like the look of that better than the full width. As for sag, negligable with this set up (>1/4").I think they are 8 lbs. 12 oz each according to this thread. I think I’ll leave them on for street driving.

I have been considering removing them. Not sure yet.Stand corrected, I remembered the 18 lbs but wasn't sure if it was total weight or each, hence the question mark. exactly .5" drop after Installed Warn 10S plus Maxumus-3 winchplate, Maximus-3 SLP hoop and front shackle loops. Plus two big 7" floods. This went on a 2 week old stock JLR 2door Rubicon with the steel bumper group. Am installing the .5" Tereflex levelers.Anyone install a winch on their stock 2 door Rubicon with factory steel bumpers and tow package?
I am contemplating it, and am curious as to how much the front end will sag.
I removed the end caps on the steel bumper to help with the sag, it helped some, didn't actually measure the difference but I remember the center dash showing the jeep was facing 2 degrees down on the front and after the end cap removal it showed 1 degree. and no I wasn't parked on flat ground Aswell.Installed winch today, sagged 1/4”.

Yep. 3/4" for me too. That changed when I put 35's on (before lifting it)...the weight of the 35's brought it to level again. Can't remember all the specifics but the last thread I saw where someone did that it sagged 3/4"
YES, NO sag, but I am using a Warn 10.5 ZEON Platinum with rope, not steel cable.Anyone install a winch on their stock 2 door Rubicon with factory steel bumpers and tow package?
