I'll bet most of the sales people at the dealership don't know how to pronounce it either. For that matter, John Willys should have given up and pronounced it the way everybody else did.
Quoted for truth!
i heard one person at the dealership called a rubicon a robocon.

Three different employees at the dealership I bought mine from all pronounced it, "Willies". They were all pretty young. IDK, it's one of those things where you just have to go with the flow.

Ever look up how you are supposed to say "Adidas"? Us Americans all say it wrong. We say: uh-dee-dis. Supposed to say: ahh-dee-das. As long as we keep buying their shoes I don't think they care!

Is this 100%? I can't find anything on window stickers or build sheets about the Willys having Fox shocks.
I don't think the Willys comes stock with Fox shocks. I believe they come with Rubicon shocks. Unless that was a change for 2021 that I missed.

I think at this point we should just accept Willies as an alternate pronunciation. Because, like, it doesn't really matter.

I love your comment! I was watching an off-road shop on YouTube upgrade his customer’s Jeep which was a Willy’s. The man couldn’t stop calling it willies and must’ve said willies 30 times in two minutes.
Like Porsche, you sound like a dork if you pronounce it correctly.
Haha - this is true as well!

You'll hear it pronounced both ways in this promotional film from the 50s.
