Good question. The bumper on the left also has black gloss trim rings around the fog lights that the other one doesn't. I thought it was the difference between the two packages. Willys Sport vs Willys

On the right 2018-2020. Left 2021. I ripped mine off the day I purchased the Jeep. There were a few changes to the front end for the 2021 Willys.

I suspected it might be the years but when I looked up 2018-2020 Jeep’s for sale they all had that fender on the left

It's not the fender. It is a piece of plastic that is attached to the bumper for better aerodynamics (I think someone on the thread called them Euro Flares). There are several screws that hold it in place and can be removed easily. Take a quick view of the pictures in this thread and you will see that prior to 2021 (when there was no Willys Sport), the standard bumper had the attachments. The other bumpers you have seen may be an upgrade to the steal bumper that looks more like the 2021 JLW.

If you want the better clearance and you swap out for rubi springs is there anything further you have to do other swap springs ? Thanx

My 2020 was like the one on the right. I cut those “euro/aero” panels out and improved the appearance immensely. This will work until I find the front bumper I want.

Nope. I have a 2020 and have the one on the right.

I have a 2020 WIllys (non-sport) and do not have the filler piece.

Maybe it is a sport/non-sport thing. Or maybe it was a change partway through the build year? Maybe someone forgot to put it on... Who knows?

I'm glad I don't have that piece though.
