like RobAmy, i read the "2 hour" statement as a minimum amount of time, not a max.
i'd suggest plugging it into a time to start up a couple of hours before you're ready to use it.

BTW, you don't have to buy the J**p to read the manual; they're available for download online, which is very convenient since it's searchable.
Zouch, as always you continue to be "helpful" to all of us. Thank you for your wisdom.

I posted this in the order thread, but thought I would do the same here.

I picked up my Jeep yesterday. It is the first Wrangler I’ve ever owned. I’m coming from a Genesis G80. I’ve owned three. I love roomy sports sedans because I like to zip around. However, since we now RV, I wanted a vehicle to flat tow and this fit the bill.

I grew up in Vermont and we owned Cherokees in the 80s. So, I’m familiar with the brand—but it has been 30+ years since I’ve driven one.

I let my daughter pick out the color and spec out the Jeep. She essentially picked everything I wanted, so it worked out well.

Willy Unlimited
Customer package 25
V6 auto
Sun and Sound—love the one touch roof
8.4 tech package
Safety group
Cold weather package

My dealer is a friend and my order matched with his allotment so I was fortunate to get my Jeep so fast—ordered on 11/16 and took ownership 12/16.

Thank you everyone so far. I’m stoked to be part of the Jeep community.

Stay healthy and well. đź‘Š

Living in MN the choice of winter tires you choose will speak volumes.
I am a long time fan of Cooper tires, so I found a nice take off set of Sahara wheels (18”) and new Cooper Discoverer M&S tires. These are dedicated snow tires and I’ll only run them during winter months where I run around norther MN and WI. They are a light truck snow and ice tire. Tough enough for some winter trail riding too.

They aren’t as sweet looking as the black Moab wheels, but still pretty sharp for a winter set. Beats black steelies. And so far in snow, these Coopers are very well planted. I’ve had them on glare ice and snowy back roads at 3 degrees Fahrenheit. No problems and light years better than MT tires. I daily drive this thing and I definitely wanted dedicated winter rubber.

Interesting how many guys/ gals who were driving sports cars or sports compacts switch to Jeeps. My last car was a 2015 Focus ST. I have been a Mustang guy all my life but our family interested in adventures which is why I got this.

Speaking of moving from sporty cars to Jeeps, I couldn’t wait for my 3-year Audi A5c lease to end. Will never lease another car. So excited when I got my new Willys. I feel like a kid in an amusement park!

I still have the stock 255/75/17 Firestones... but intend to swap to the BFGs before winter.

I intend to go up... but do not know how big I can go on the stock rims without rubbing issues.

Anyone on here know what I can get away with on the Moab rims and the stock Willys suspension?
To me, it depends upon order of upgrades. For me, Moab rims, 285/75/17 Toyo AT3, no modification whatsoever. Once you put your lift on, you'll want the bigger tires anyway. Purely opinion.

Got my first Jeep a little over a week ago. Went with the Willys because I wanted a bit more than what the standard trim gave me. Lucked out with the premium audio package. I do wish it had the 8.4” Uconnect system, but it is still a great first Jeep. Sarge green is the color.

Nice Jeep. I'm looking at the Sun and Sound also. Do you know if the Alpine stereo system is part of the package?

Thank you. I’m loving it so far.

When I selected Sun and Sound, it adds the following in the pictures below. I do have the Alpine system. I can see why one would wonder because it does not say it explicitly in the packages—just a reference to the premium audio group. 👊

For someone interested in both the premium audio and SOT roof on a Willys, that package actually offers a better value than on the Rubi where they are separate options.

Thanks for following up. The "premium audio" was what confused me. Also on the Jeep website the Alpine audio option isn't selected when you choose the Sun & Sound package making me think it wasn't included. We have an appointment this afternoon to order our Jeep. I'm still trying decide on the options. I've changed my mind dozens of times.

Yes. I thought maybe it was too good of a deal to include everything 🤔 . This will be my first Jeep and only my 2nd new car ever. I'm pretty excited. Now just have to decide on a color.
