Looks nice! I have the same color and wheels except I have a color matched top.

What size wheels and tires do you have? What lift do you have?

They are 18x9 -12 offset.. tires are 35x12.50 .. the lift is a zone 3 inch lift but I upgraded to the Fox performance series shocks..

2022 Wrangler Unlimited Willys

XR in Hydro Blue. Bought it used at a greatttttt deal and with only 6,700 miles on it.

I just got mine 3 days ago at the Ourisman's CDJR in Clarksville, MD! I'm a first time Jeep owner who has had a 2004 Silverado for the past 15 years. I'm excited to get into overlanding and already have plans for mods I'd like to use my bonuses at work for.

Just picked up an XR for Z$6K less than window sticker. Due to high interest rates, dealerships are marking down considerably.

This is my second XR btw - and both run hot compared to the non XR Wranglers. Notice coolant and oil regularly reach 230F temps on street driving even with A/C on. On highway, temps are maintained between 192-208K for coolant. I guess it must be the heavier weight of the tires/wheels, axle and suspension?

Neither the coolant, transmission fluid nor the oil in my JLU Sport got anywhere near that hot when I was towing a loaded motorcycle trailer in summer temps. Granted, 85°F here is a bit cooler than what it is in Las Vegas at the same time, but still...

If larger/heavier wheels & tires were the cause of elevated temperature trends, they'd likely be the subject of countless forum threads. That they're not suggests digging into your Jeep a bit to check for unobstructed air flow, proper fluid levels and the like.

Regularly reaching 230° in any fluid category is cause for concern, IMO.
