This is in southern Utah, just outside of St. George in a town called Leeds, I think. I was visiting the area last weekend and kept chasing random trails for a good look at the mountain range.nice.
where is that?
That should be in a large beautiful frame and on your wall at home. Specially like the “Willys “ showing but hey….I’m a little biased towards the machine. This is in southern Utah, just outside of St. George in a town called Leeds, I think. seems like this should be the standard for Willys types. Shots of the trail /scenery but gotta include the hood in the shot!
Looks awesome! Just got my Willys a few weeks ago and I'm looking at a similar setup for tires. How's the noise on those ridge grapplers vs. the stock MT2s?
Did a little flexing today with “Willow” since getting the 2.5 lift and 35s
Thank you! And it’s incredible how much better the Nittos are tbh…. The difference in sound between the factory size MT2s and these Nittos in 35s is crazy… I couldn’t imagine having less road noise than what limited noise I get with these… I’ll likely stick to the ridge grapplers religiously after my experience with them.Looks awesome! May as well whore out a few of mine from this past weekend....seems like this should be the standard for Willys types. Shots of the trail /scenery but gotta include the hood in the shot!
I'm still in MT2s and looking at a "Hybrid" NRG as well! I can't stand the wobbliness of the drive on the highway, but the road noise I've learned to live with. Its great to know these Nittos are a crowd pleaser as I was also debating between this tire and KO2s, but i love the "hybrid" Nitto provides and the look is much more aggressive that Ko2 (in my humble opinion).Thank you! Here are a couple more current pics of the Jeep a little dirty with all this snow we’ve been getting in Pittsburgh…
Yeah honestly I’ve loved the Nittos all the way around no issues with highway travel but yeah KO3s we’re what I was gonna get til there was an issue with my order and they claimed they had none in stock so went with the Nittos and I don’t regret it.I'm still in MT2s and looking at a "Hybrid" NRG as well! I'm not sure why people complain about MT2s in snow/rain as their reliability in weather has been the only thing that's kept me hanging on to them so long... for me its the "two-hands on the wheel' driving that MT2s require on the highway that irritate the crap outta me.
*Any issues with highway driving or handling in the Nitto RGs?
Awesome to hear-- thanks! Also, I love the look on the stock rims- I'm a fan of the Willys black stock rims and was hoping to get 35s on them shortly.Yeah honestly I’ve loved the Nittos all the way around no issues with highway travel but yeah KO3s we’re what I was gonna get til there was an issue with my order and they claimed they had none in stock so went with the Nittos and I don’t regret it.
Yes same, I really want to get beadlocks but can’t bring myself to buy them yet just cuz I do really like the oem Willy’s wheels and I really have no NEED for beadlocks, just prefer the look a little more and obviously beadlocks would be nice to have than not have for when you are crawlingAwesome to hear-- thanks!
