Just a little note - while these do provide a bit of extra protection, the do deform the door seals a little bit. I have seen a few people post that they now get water inside sometimes when it rains.

The plan to use silicone on the ends so it’s not such a sharp transition. Plenty of water will get in with the doors off anyways.

i added grip tape. better coverage, cheaper, and doesn't interfere with the door seals.

Lucky for me, when I went shopping for the Chief Blue Clear Coat V6 I found 3. The closest one was 340 miles away. Worth the trip and driving back 340 miles in our new Willys, well it was worth every mile. Due to this color only being offered from November 1, 2020 to February 1, 2021 we were not licky enough to order one fully loaded, so we settled for one well equipped. I added LED taillight, Proximity lock system, and back Park Assist rear bumper however, have not been able to find the correct Park Assist Module that this truck would’ve come with if I had ordered it from a build sheet.
So after trying 3 modules without any luck, I have to ask...
If anyone has any ideas on how I can locate the correct Park Assist module, please let me know. Thanks!

it'll be the same as whatever is in the rear. ;-)

the correct answer is; it depends.

for example: the EcoDiesel option automagically means you get 3.73s and Dana 44 axles Front and Rear.

Well the willys rear is a d44 with the lsd and front is a d30. So 3.73 in the front then?

front and rear ratios will be the same; that's how 4WDs work.

but 3.45 is standard.

which ratio you get in a Willys depends on which option you order.

my point is that the front is not always a D30. if you get a diesel, both front and rear are D44s (and those come with with 3.73s).

If you do buy this step, get in touch with me, installation instructions are a waste of time. You can’t follow them step by step because they are wrong. Unless they’ve updated them since I bought my steps in April.
What we liked about them is that they are actually usable, unlike the OE steps on like a Sahara. In addition, the girls in my family can use the step with dressy shoes without slipping.

I am gonna cover that area with 3m clear protective tape, then put sill guards over it.
