I have my doubts about it being a factory option but would not be surprised if Ford markets the Bronco’s suspension, axles, etc. to be 37” tire capable.A lot of the rumors about the Bronco have turned out true. If the rumor of 37” factory tires is true... that is going to be a huge win for ford. I’ve heard a lot of people say it isn’t possible from a fuel economy perspective or that IFS can’t handle 37’s. If they have figured out solutions to both that is going to be pretty insane.
Yea. I gotta do the double-click, too.The 4dr has a 21 gallon tank, you probably aren't as empty as you thought
my friend for his first car in 1979 his dad gave him his 1974 scout w/manual trans i6 engine. I loved that thing and if they came back out I would have one immediately. so the closest i could get was in 2016 i bought a new JK 2dr manual. and i love it, so much so that I am waiting for my 2nd Jeep on order, a 2dr Rubicon w/manual. You had one of the greats!!As far as calling a Bronco a Jeep, when I was in high school my mom called my Scout II a Jeep, I just couldn't get her to get it.
Speaking of the Scout II, that Bronco looks more like it's successor than it does the original Bronco, which was a copy of the Scout 80. Then there's the whole Commando thing, which was Jeeps answer to the Scout and Bronco. What comes around goes around.
The Bronco doors apparently have frameless windows, so they're both full doors and half doorsAnd if there is any good in this world, please, please please let them make factory half doors so Jeep will too!
This makes sense, as one of the promises was that the Bronco would have storage for the doors in the rear cargo area. No way to make this work with full doors, but with half-doors that definitely could. For anyone who has ever driven their Wrangler to a vacation (where the roadtrip is too long to comfortably drive without doors), but then got there and wanted the doors-off freedom (but lacked anyplace to store them), that's a compelling feature. Wouldn't be shocked if it is incorporated in the "JM" or whatever replaces the JL in 7-8 years. The Bronco doors apparently have frameless windows, so they're both full doors and half doors
I have never had an issue storing them. I just lean them against a fence or a tree or something.
