Personally don't have a problem with electric vehicles as a choice, as they have certain benefits (and drawbacks) that appeal to some consumers. But I'd still like internal combustion to remain an option as long as there's still gas pumps everywhere.Very sad time. Thanks to the government shove electric everything down our throats.
Not to mention a 392 Gladiator. Probably not worth R&D and approval costs for a short lived production. Hopefully, Jeep will give us a wild 392 2-door before shitcanning the engine. Honestly surprised they haven't already.
The charger sold to the exact demographics it intended.I'm surprised the current iteration of the Charger didn't get axed sooner.
The modern Challenger was a faithful adaptation of the original, with an engine selection that could back up the aesthetic. The Charger, on the other hand, was an anonymous box that didn't pretend to recall anything that ever wore the name. Just imagine what a modern interpretation of the 1969 vehicle would like like. Done right, it might have outsold the Challenger.
I feel the same. The US in no way has the infrastructure to support a majority of cars being electric--particularly if you consider those who want to "get out of the city" in combination with the ranges and charge times of EV today.Personally don't have a problem with electric vehicles as a choice, as they have certain benefits (and drawbacks) that appeal to some consumers. Still trying to figure out how we'll pour 5 gallons of electricity into a jerrycan, lol. Maybe we'll be using giant portable battery charger banks like we would for cellphones and tablets? And yeah, hybrid makes the most sense, at least for rural America imo.-particularly if you consider those who want to "get out of the city"
Guarantee you in 20 years no one will want to touch a gas powered vehicle. But let’s just live in the moment and enjoy what little time we have left with them. It’s reminiscent of the horse and buggy giving way to gas cars. Now gas cars are giving way to electric cars. Can’t stop it, can’t fight it, might as well accept it. Electric doesn’t mean boring. Just means quiet.

Are we really expected to pretend that the giant rock we live on is being affected by the small number of people who drive cars across tiny fractions of its surface? Insane.
