My friend has a Pulsar unit (42451) he pulled out of his '19 JL sitting in his garage. I've got a '22 JL on order. He's offered to let me have it.

I see there's an updated version (42751) for '21 and newer. My question is, will the old model work in a '22? I get that there have been improvements but $700 vs free is a big price difference.

You can try it. I don't recall if there was a calibration change needed for the 22 models or not honestly. The main issue is that the CARB coverage on the 42451 does not yet extend to the 22 model year.

Thanks
