My wheels are a -18 offset. Like I mention, offset or rear space is going to play a key role in needing the relocation bracket.I have Milestars as well and it looks like I could fit 37s I have so much room. I did extend my bump stops. My rims are +12 offset.
I could not make it work with the 35”BFG KM3 mounted on Mopar 17” Gladiator rims and the factory steel rubicon bumper. I went with the Smittybilt spare riser. It has the least amount of setback and has more then enough clearance
Very easy install and looks like it would allow a 37” tire, I don’t know if I would trust the factory carrier for that much weight
Yes it is, good pictures and details here - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...r-2-different-part-s.38640/page-2#post-884046I just read through this but was curious to know if the factory Rubicon tire carrier is a bit higher than the factory one on the Sport models?
Thanks for the link, but it appears that only the light is taller and not the mount itself. A little info on what I am trying to do.... I have a Sport S with the Mopar Beadlocks and 35" Toyo MT's. I really don't want to buy a full blown tire carrier/tailgate reinforcement bracket. I feel confident that if the spare is mounted correctly on the bump stops it should be ok. I thought I had read somewhere that the Rubicon carrier was a touch taller and wanted to be sure before I bought one. I also have the factory steel rear bumper also.Yes it is, good pictures and details here - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...r-2-different-part-s.38640/page-2#post-884046
