The Rubicon and Sport Lower Control Arms are the same. I got some Rubicon takeoffs and went to install the passenger front LCA and it was the exact same thing.
That is interesting I was under the impression and would figure they need to be longer for the Rubi

So I called north ridge and they said the total opposite of the lift kit manufacturer I called. They said switching coils and shocks between a sport and a rubicon is not a big deal and everything should work okay. I do trust those guys more then the lift kit manufacturer I called based off history.

Same thing happened to me. Even the ones that come in the mopar lift are under .75" longer. You can feel the play in steering a little from the caster being off.

I think a Rubi Suspension and some adjustable front lower control arms would do nicely. That’s what I’ll probably do

Just make sure you put them in the right corner. Apparently they are specific, as mine sites a little crooked.

Does anyone have any tips for what is involved to install to Rubicon shocks/springs on a Sport?

I'm about to do the same. I believe all that is needed is a shock and spring swap.

remove sport suspension, install rubi suspension in it's place, enjoy!
Well that sounds easy enough. Can it be done with two jack stands and the jack that comes with the jeep?

For those who have done this, did you need to have an alignment done afterwards?

I just did this, however, I paid a shop to do it. I was quoted 500 at several places (including the local 4x4 place). I knew that was crazy so some facebook advice led me to a place that did it in an hour for 150. He put it on the lift and did not even need to remove the tires. Anyway, handling is the same, the ride is stiffer, in fact, I say it drives more like a jeep. Mind you I came from the JLS with the Michelin ltx Ms/2 tire. I did not measure but with tires and suspension, I have about 2.5-3 inches of lift. No alignment needed. Paid 150 for shocks/springs and 150 installation. Cheaper than a lot of the take-offs listed.

Just did the swap this weekend and gained 1.5” lift. The shop I had put it on bundles an alignment with the cost of install. Great mild lift for a Sport, perfect for my needs. Local dealership wanted $860 for install so I found a local shop that did it MUCH MUCH cheaper. Before and after difference much more noticeable in person than in the pictures.

Did you do just shocks and springs as well?
