Better get the 392 while you can. I do not believe they will be making them after 2022. And if they do it will not be for long. Clock is ticking, no one knows when but it will not be long.
It's sort of a double-edged sword. Maybe the 3.0 twin turbo inline 6 will replace the 392. If that's the case, I might wait....but the sounds the 392 makes....

She’ll want the 4Xe after she puts gas in the 392 a few times. Make sure the colors are the same so you can swap half doors from the 392 to the 4Xe. Oh, make sure you brag about how little time you spend filling it up.
We built the 392 online in Sarge Green with half doors and she loved it. 4xe is Granite so ....

I bought my Rubicon through Granger and they're great to deal with. Here's Zach's email, just send him the pdf of your build and he'll usually get it back to you within a day. [email protected]

You're going to need one of these too. 😁

Plus, down the road one can be used for parts.
We have a couple of old CJs that I actually swapped carburetors on last year so that's a valid point.

Lucky you, I already tried to get my wife to get rid of the 2020 Ram for a Rubicon 392, but no, she is a truck girl. Witch is ok in retrospect because I want the 392 all to myself, lol.

I would be jumping for joy with a 392 exactly the way it comes adding nothing except the black paint. But I am trying to stay off Jeeps website cause every time I go on there to look I start fenagling shit in my head on how to get one.

Hmmm. She gets the mean, green hyper masculine 392. You get the pretty Granite Pearl hybrid.

Thats the problem... she found the configurator online (damn Google). She HAS to have half doors, front camera, Sarge Green and SOT. Meanwhile I'm driving about as base of a Rubicon as you can buy.

OK....we've had a TJ for 24 years so we thought it was time and bought a 21 JLUR 4xe last year and now the wife has decided it's nice enough to trade in her Q-60 for a 392. While $50k is a lot for a Jeep, $75k just seems ridiculous. That's 50% more Jeep! Of course, she wants the XR package and half doors too. Is there at least a snowballs chance in hell to order one for 5% below invoice like I did for the 4xe? Also, do I have a snowballs chance in hell convincing her that I need the 392 and she can have the 4xe?
This is how I see it: if she drives a Nissan Q60, she is already used to throwing money away... 😫
