Surprisingly they haven’t done too bad off-road but I think she’s ready for some proper tires.
A wider tire with a more aggressive tread made a world of difference with my Jeep. I didn't even go taller with mine but if she wants a lift then 35s would be a good size to go to.

That’s about the exact route I was thinking. Can’t believe I have a wife that wants to upgrade her Jeep too but it’s fun to be a Jeep couple and both be passionate about our rigs.
With the lift, remove the running boards like you want and put a set of retractable rock rails on so shorty can get in and out easier.

IMO, the suspension included in the XR is a total letdown.
Yeah, the only advantage to that package is the guys at the factory install it instead of the dealership. Presumably, there's a better chance of getting everything adjusted properly.

I’m sure once we get her jeep situated that envy will diminish. I do most of the housecleaning. I never hear her jealous of that ;)

Sort of in the same boat... My wife took our new 4xe to work today (just picked it up last night). She simply texted me I.LOVE.THIS.JEEP. after her drive in. I might be driving this less than I originally thought 😟.

Buy some UD60's, beadlocks, 4D's, and some Accutune suspension for your 392.
Install all 392 takeoffs on wifes car.

Everybody wins!

Wife liked my 18 Rubicon with Mopar Lift and 37s so much I had to sell her Benz GLE 350 and order her a Tuscadero Rubicon XR…

My wife got me into the Jeep thing also with her YJ and now I’m hooked.

My wife would say about your wife’s stock Jeep. Lift that Sh*t Up!

Amen! Yeah let me get my upgrades on next week. See what kind of sag occurs to the front end of my 392 and then I will make a decision between the two of ours.

In all fairness if it wasn’t for her, I probably wouldn’t even own a 392 right now. She is the one who wanted a jeep first. Her buying a Jeep and me driving it constantly is the reason I was instantly hooked.

She said that her jeep looks like a shrimp next to mine and wants to put on a mild lift and new tires.

I’m thinking just a Mopar 2 inch lift and BFG KO2 35s. I would also like to get rid of the plastic runningboards. What are you guys think? Keep it simple, but give her the beefed up look she thinks she wants or keep it stockish?

That picture kind of reminds me of a girl I dated in high school when the big brother came out and started questioning me, looked like The Rock. "Where you going? What are you going to be doing? When are you going to get her home? She better not be upset!"
