I know this is not where most people want to take their rigs but I come from my last Jeep being a TJ and I felt like a big dog on 33’s.

The factory 285 that came on our Rubicon just looks to narrow. What is a wider option tire that will fit on the factory rim that will not require speed calibration.

I am also considering a second set of rims with the wider, more aggressive tire for trail days and switch back to factory for the streets. What are the TPMS concerns with doing this?

Or, if I go with a 35 12.50 is the speed calibration required?

Thanks for any guidance.

Speed calibration is needed for 35’s. Anytime you charge the overall diameter it’s gonna be off.

Width doesn’t affect the speedo. Just keep the diameter the same.
