Dynatrac makes the ProRock 44 and Dana the Ultimate 44 only for JL front axle applications. There’s only 60 and 80 series upgraded rear axles. Why is this?

Was just discussing this with another member here. Kind of silly a UD44 rear isn't offered. That 60 would probably be hard on the v6 and the turbo, not to mention the hole patterns. The PR44 and Ultimate 44 aren’t full float although that would be great. Or a conversion kit like you suggested. But if you’ve got a Rubicon and want to upgrade both front and rear, you have to go to a 60 or 80 rear. No option for a stronger rear 44. Which means doing the same in front since the 60/80 are 8 lug and the 44 isn’t.

I got to wheel with my UD44 front last weekend and loved it. Definitely a confidence booster not having to worry about it breaking easily compared to the D30 with 37s.
Yep. It's a D44 just narrower than the front. Regeared at 4.88 to match the UD44. I'll add locker at some point.UD44 front and stock rear?
They recently released them. We have our eye on them for the next folks that are wanting to upgrade their axlesI find the Dynatrac Profloat 60 to be interesting: https://www.dynatrac.com/axle-assemblies/jeep-jl-wrangler/profloat-xd60-for-jl.html
They seem to offer it in a 5 lug configuration. That said, I’ve seen no talk about it so I’m not sure it exists in the real world.
Yep... if they make a comparable 60 for the front that allows me to keep my wheels....sign me up! I’ll take the first set to roll out their doors! Are they gonna make a comparable front 60 where we can keep our current wheels? If I'm gonna go 60 in the rear, I want a matching 60 up front......
Why would a 60 be hard on the motor? People have been rolling tons with 4-bangers for decades. Was just discussing this with another member here. Kind of silly a UD44 rear isn't offered. That 60 would probably be hard on the v6 and the turbo, not to mention the hole patterns.
