Why is the 8hp75 so downshift happy..

On CC our Jeeps want to downshift at the slightest grade. Only solution so far is to move the shifter over to manual and watch the boost gauge on the Tazer climb into the 20's and they chug right up any hill without and issue. Anyone think the GDE tune or any other tune might be able to help?

37's Speedomter correct and stock 3.73.

As far as I know, the ZF8 is programmable based on driving characteristics. If you keep manually upshifting, you might force the PCM/TCM to relearn your driving characteristics and hold gears longer so it doesn’t downshift as soon as it does now.
