Is caster angles different on LH vs RH because the axle yokes are just built not quite even on both sides?

Or because of the way the frames are not welded up square and true?

I want to use brackets mainly for ride, but am afraid I still need some fine tuning to get both sides similar with upper or lower adjustable arms.

I was told, years ago--that the passenger side (US) was X deg more POSITIVE--

The reason was so that the JEEP would TEND to drift to the right(road side shoulder) when the driver (for whatever reason) wasn't able to steer the jeep-

Even using the lift manufacturer's control arm specs each side will be slightly different. You will be fine with brackets.

I currently have brackets and my caster is:

5.5 driver
5.4 passenger

I think it is the reverse, the passenger side will have less positive caster, because they intentionally want you to drift to the right, so when you fell sleep you won't have a head-on collision.

Cross caster is the correct term and @JIMBOX is correct as the passenger side is intended to have more positive caster.

The reasoning is to account for road crown so the jeep will drive straight without heavy steering input on a crowned road surface.
