Why doesn’t Jeep offer cool colors?

I actually think Jeep has some great colors.

However, I saw this Bronco last week. It's a Raptor with the hideous fenders, but the color is gorgeous. Saab used to make a color like this and call it Scarabe Green. Jaguar also made something like it. Like a metallic British racing green.

2dr eruption green is exactly what he ordered after they skipped us for 21’, then 22’. Finally gave up and ordered a Wrangler before getting a vin 6 days after we picked up the Jeep. We waited over 2 years, Ford lost our business. Agreed though, great color.

Back in 2013 I had a Commando Green JK, my daughter had a Cosmo blue JK, and my niece had a Rock Lobster JK, all at the same time and all were 2 doors.

In fairness though, Fords other colors are pretty lack luster in comparison. Just my two cents, but Jeep does a way better job with offering fun colors as was presented by many people on this thread.

I believe I'm in the minority here, but I would've loved the option of a matte paint.

You would think that the most capable offroad vehicle on the market would come with a stealth/matte paint option from the factory. Especially considering the inevitability that they're going to get much dirtier than most other vehicles.

Not everyone wants a shiny jewel. IMO, matte paint on the Jeep would just look so much cooler and utilitarian. With gloss paint, you're subconsciously going to always want it looking it's "best" & cleanest... at least that's how my brain operates.

Maybe one day if I find a spare kidney on the ground, I will use it to pay to have my Jeep covered in matte PPF ... Rant over

You can get a Jeep in any color you want, as long as it's black.

I have been pretty thrilled about some of the Jeep colors. They get some bold and bright stuff going on. Mojito, Gecko, FR, HYdro blue, are all great. Even the more subtle colors look sharp. This is one area FCA seemed to get somewhat right.

^Snazzberry is fantastic, my neighbor has one and I get to stare it down everyday when I pass, lmfao!! Reminds me of my old DSM color, some kind of Berry metallic pearl.

Punk'n is my favorite Jeep color. I drive a HVY though, lol

I agree. I wish they would offer the old schoold Porsche 70's metallic paint:

Lobster Red Interior is the best (especially the furry carpet they used for a while):

Check out their new "Earl" color, which is a subtle minty green; similar to the Ice Green Metallic Porsche pictured above.

There have been several cool and fun colors over the last few years.

Earl Gray

Jeep knows how to do it. Ford released the Bronco and they don’t realize it’s a great platform for the same type of colors. So far they have done three fun colors. One discontinued after two years but also spread over several other models. Two more exclusive to limited edition Bronco models.
